These pictures are from the brood deep hive box #2. I was planning on taking pictures of every frame in the hive but the Sony battery in the digital camera weakened prematurely. I do plan to have a virtual tour of the hive eventually. I added my first deep super this evening and and hoping that the bees will start working on drawing out the comb on the virgin foundation.

July 3rd 2005 Pictures

Last week I built a venting box for the colony of honey bees. This weekend I took pictures and checked on the progress of my ever growing bee ranch. The bees have not moved into the 3rd super except to chew on some of the foundation but the second box is filling up with honey and brood
